The Modern Queer Tarot

A primer of LGBT history as well as a companion text to the Modern Queer Tarot deck (available from modernqueertarot.com) A richly designed and thoughtfully written classic 78-card tarot deck presented as an art book. Created as both a divinatory tool and a way to remind readers of the lives of seventy-eight thoroughly memorable LGBT figures from history. Every richly reproduced card image is assigned to one of these queer people, with both positive and negative interpretations along with a brief biography outlining how their lives correspond.

The book brings a fresh diversity to the classic tarot card body of knowledge with its queer lens adding to our understanding.
