Bindings for Journals
The binding you choose reflects your industry or area of study and research, page count, reader expectations, and budget. The most popular choices for professional journals are “hardcover binding”, “wire-o binding” and “perfect binding”.
Perfect binding
Perfect binding is the technical term for what is better known as paperback or softcover binding. A familiar style, perfect binding is a visually appealing and economical bookbinding solution.
Hardcover binding
Hardcover books are more durable than most other books, and this binding style is often perceived as more valuable by consumers. To make your hardcover book extra-special, you can add features like a printed slip-case, ribbon markers, and a dust jacket. Nothing speaks of quality and value so much as the elegance and substance of a finely crafted hardcover edition.
Wire-O binding
Wire-O binding is even tougher than spiral binding as it incorporates a double wire coil making it ideal for workshop manuals, textbooks, instructional guides, and other uses in which the book will be handled often, even outdoors, stuffed into a bag, or deployed in tougher environments.
More Optional Extras
If you want to make your journals extra special, besides the cover finishes, why not choose rounded corners, add tab dividers inside the book, include a handy pocket in the cover, a ribbon place marker, and elasticized closure band or an eye-catching sticker? The books came out beautiful, the print quality is absolutely flawless, the paper is fantastically solid and the laminated soft touch cover is straight up luxury. The book looks and feels 110% professional and it's a glorious to hold.

No. Website images are generally low resolution. For high-quality journal printing, images or photos should be at least 300 dpi to ensure clear, crisp results.
For printing purposes, we require artwork in high-resolution PDF format, which includes 0.125 inches / 3 mm bleed.
Offset printing uses the CMYK color space.
